Spiral Innovation Studio is a professional learning and applied design ecosystem based at the Center for Bioengineering Innovation & Design (CBID).

This program extends the CBID Spiral Innovation Model, cycling through needs discovery, commercial evaluation, technical prototyping, and organizational planning. Participants navigate real challenges by iterating between discovery, design, and execution, building practical innovation and leadership skills.

The 2024 Nexus Harbor Summit on Policy for Open Sustainability, held in partnership with LF Energy, brought together innovators, policymakers, and community stakeholders to co-create strategies at the intersection of technology, public service, and sustainability. The summit focused on equitable energy transition and infrastructure systems, exploring how to enable innovation while ensuring communities are active partners in shaping the future.
